PgSmart Web Agent(s) Registration

Once PgSmart is installed, the next step is to register the Agents, which, as previously mentioned, are the components responsible for providing the services or resources requested by the Client.

  • Registering a new PgSmart Agent is a prerequisite for any service and must be done for each machine, using either PgSmart CLI or PgSmart Web.
  • When registering an Agent through PgSmart Web, the observability exporters configuration is automatically performed.
  • This option is available before any PgSmart command execution.

  1. Go to Início/Gerenciar Ambientes/Agentes.
    A list of all registered Agents will be displayed.

  2. Click Registrar.

  3. Enter an Alias for the Agent.

  4. Enter the Host or IP address of the machine where the Agent is installed.

  5. Enter the Agent Port.

  6. Enter the Metrics Port.

  7. Enter the Agent's connection key (copy the connectionkey from the server where the Agent is installed and running):

  8. Select the Environment where the Agent will be registered.

  9. Click Salvar.
