Check out all the features, improvements, and fixes implemented in PostgreSYS 4.1.0:

New Components and Features​

  • pgvector extension for storing and indexing vectors (embeddings), and support for similarity search; and

  • pgembed extension for integration with embedding services, providing a set of functions that facilitate data vectorization.

Improvements​

  • Support for Debian 11+ and Ubuntu 22.04+ operating systems;

  • Password configuration for metadata database users and metric collectors; and

  • Version updates for several components.

  • PGSMART-WEB-9276 Improvements in defining access rules (pg_hba.conf) for the PostgreSQL metrics exporter; and
