Authorized User(s) Configuration via PgSmart Web

Identifies the database users authorized to connect through the Connection Pool (PgBouncer).

Prerequisites

  1. Select the desired Environment from the dropdown in the top bar.

  2. Select the Pool de Conexões option in the sidebar.

    The registered pool components (PgBouncer) will be presented in the form of cards.

  3. Select the Usuários tab. The list of registered users with their respective parameters will be displayed.

Insert a User​

  1. To Insert a new Connection Pool User: 1.1. Click Incluir. 1.2. Enter the Username to be used by applications or clients to connect through the Connection Pool. 1.3. Enter the Password. 1.4. Select the Reuse Mode. 1.5. Enter the maximum number of connections. 1.6. Click Adicionar. 1.7. Confirm the reload of the services.

Rename a User​

  1. To Rename a Connection Pool User: 1.1. Click the three dots (⋮) next to the Connection Pool user you want to edit. 1.2. Select Renomear Usuário. 1.3. Edit the name as desired. 1.4. Click Confirmar.

Edit a User​

  1. To Edit a User parameter in the Connection Pool. 1.1. Expand the parameter list after selecting the desired pool User. 1.2. Edit the desired parameter. 1.3. Click Salvar.

Delete a User​

  1. To Delete a User from the Connection Pool: 1.1. Click the three dots (⋮) next to the Connection Pool User you wish to delete. 1.2. Select Remover Usuário. 1.3. Confirm the removal.
