PgSmart Agent Configuration

Prerequisites
  • PgSmart client and PgSmart agent installed on the servers where the services will be executed.
Command Syntax

pgsmart config
  1. Select the Agent Logs option.

Selecting the Agent Records option provides the following operations

  • List: Allows you to view existing agents.
  • Add: Allows you to add a new agent.
  • Edit: Allows you to edit an Agent.
  • Remove: Allows you to remove an Agent.

Listing Agents​

  1. Select the List operation.

    note

    The list of registered agents is displayed.

Adding a PgSmart Agent​

  1. Select the Add operation.

  2. Enter the PgSmart Agent details.

Editing a PgSmart Agent​

  1. Select the Edit operation.

    note

    When this action is selected, PgSmart provides a list of registered agents.

  2. Select the Agent to edit.

  3. Edit the element(s) in the order shown, as required.

  4. Confirm that the agent is edited.

Removing a PgSmart Agent​

  1. Select the Remove operation.

    note

    When this action is selected, PgSmart provides a list of registered agents.

  2. Select the Agent you wish to remove.

  3. Confirm the removal.
