Metrics Collector Management

Check below for the commands available to control the Metrics Collector service.

Command Syntax
Terminal input
pgsmart obs collector [OPERATION] [FLAGS]

Operations:

  • Status of the Metrics Collector service.
  • Start the Metrics Collector service.
  • Stop the Metrics Collector service.
  • Restart the Metrics Collector service.
  • Reload the Metrics Collector service.

Flags:

  • -a, --agent=@!<agent>@! => Alias, hostname, or IP of the server where the desired PgSmart Agent is installed.
  • -h, --help => Help
  • -q, --quiet => Non-interactive execution to control the Metrics Collector service (status|start|stop|restart|reload).

Stop the Metrics Collector Service​

Start the Metrics Collector Service​
